Keynote: There's no I in AI (yet)

There's no intelligence in current AI systems, but apparently we think there is, and then get surprised when it gives wrong answers.
Why is this, and what will happen when we get real intelligent systems?
This opening keynote gives an introduction to AI as we currently know it, examines how we interact with it, and envisions the consequences of real AI emerging.

Generative AI and the enterprise context

The current market is deafening with noise around the constant stream of AI capability releases. Before we are even able to grasp an understanding of initial offerings, new possibilities arise to once again put us back in the drawing room.

In my presentation I intend to give a non-coders view on what the technology is, what it can do and what it can’t. I will present a simple framework we have developed to both understand positioning and utilization opportunities for enterprises that speaks both to IT and business professionals.

Throughout the presentation I will draw upon my extensive experience in driving automation initiatives as well as discussions I have had with people in my network, hopefully making the session thought-provoking and inspiring in addition to informing.

The Automation Ecosystem: Orchestrating Efficiency & Innovation

Let's talk about how automation technologies are revolutionizing industries by seamlessly integrating various tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.

In the agile world of automation how do we highlight its role in streamlining workflows, reducing manual tasks, and fostering creative solutions, ultimately paving the way for a more efficient and innovative future.

Furthermore, Let’s not forget to talk about the fusion of automation and AI/Gen AI.

Successful Scaling of Software Automation – Between Legacy & Hyper Automation

The upcoming industrial revolution 5.0, driven by artificial intelligence, presents companies with the challenge of integrating existing legacy systems with new technologies.

Simultaneously, the persistent shortage of skilled professionals exacerbates the situation. Advanced technologies offer immense potential for enhancing efficiency and competitiveness.

This presentation analyzes the reasons for these challenges and provides recommendations for successfully scaling software automation in a global corporate context.

Key Takeaways for Participants:

• What is the maturity level of companies and the barriers to successful scaling?

• What insights can be gained from previous OCR/RPA projects, and what expectations exist regarding future developments?

• What methods should be applied to unleash the full potential of new technologies?
