Social Events

Whether you are the natural-born networker or think that networking does not come natural, our conference social events are excellent networking opportunities; participants and speakers get together at good venues and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The social events are integral to our conferences and have been so since the start in 2005. The social events are included in the conference attendance fee. Just remember to register your attendance at the respective events.

Monday: Jetlag reception

18.00 - 22.00

Jetlag reception is open for everybody who has arrived early, some of which have travelled very far to get to Aarhus.

Don't worry if you arrive late, just show up when you can

Tuesday: Informal City Walk

Meet at the registration desk for a small guided tour of Aarhus
Highlights include Institut for X, Godsbanen, the first train station, Book1, Møllestien and more

Tuesday: Conference dinner

On the evening of Conference Day #1, everybody who has arrived in Aarhus is welcome to join us for an informal evening dinner in a nice setting.

Wednesday: Morning run

6.30 - 7.00
Location: Meet in front of Radisson Blu

Join the morning run to prepare for a day of learning and networking. We will run about 25 minutes at a relaxed pace.

Wednesday: Networking dinner

18.30 - 21.30
Location: Aarhus Street Food, Ny Banegårdsgade 46, 8000 Aarhus C

All participants and speakers are invited to the conference networking dinner. This is quite a popular party!

Thursday: Farewell dinner

18.30 - 22.00
Location: Sharks, Frederiksgade 25, 8000 Aarhus C

Those still around and with some energy left are invited for one final, nice post-conference dinner.
You’ll get a chance to talk with colleagues, and other participants over a glass (or two!) of wine or beer before leaving Aarhus.

As per tradition, we'll stop by for some table tennis afterwards...
